Early Life[edit | hide]
At some point, Franco Mortelli became a known criminal in Italy for his driving skills. This earned him the nickname of "The fastest man on Earth".[1]
The Museum theft[edit | hide]
In 1990, Mortelli joined Stan Kovacs' group in order to help him steal the Death Mask of Rasputin and met him at the Marco's Billiards. Later, the team would rob Star Labs in order to get materials for the upcoming heist but was interrupted by a Red figure. Mortelli drove the car away from the scene and started noticing red flashes' presence around the car until he clearly notices a man dressed in red running at his speed. This took him by surprise and when trying to escape him, the man placed a mattress on the car which lowered enough his visibility and cause an accident that killed him.[1]
