Synopsis
Barry considers moving, after Pike is acquitted of his brother's murder. Pike launches a missile to kill the Flash, who is sent 10 years into the future where Pike is now Mayor. The Flash's powers are now unstable and Tina refuses to help him because she blames him for leaving. He's got to find a way to get back to his own time.
Trivia
- This is the first episode to include time travel. A concept that other shows of the Arrowverse would exploit
- Similar to the comic storyline Flashpoint shown years later, Barry gained his powers back temporarily in the episode through Nicholas Pike's rehabilitation machine. Similar to Barry using an electric chair in the comic to get his powers back.
- The Flash Museum was showcased in the episode. The Flash Museum is commonly used to remember heroes with the alias of the Flash in the DC comics, primarily Barry Allen.
