ELTs are a series of transmitter beacon for Superman.

Adter revealing his identity to Lois Lane, Superman gave an ELT to her in case of emergency.[1] Afterwards, he also gave one to Sam Lane and assisted him in DOD matters.[2]
In 2020, Kent revealed his identity to his sons and gave them an ELT.[3] Jordan soon used it after being attacked by Tag Harris.[4]

The ELTs are a series of box-liked beacon transmitter that emits a unique sonic frequency in order to catch Superman's attention. The ELTs are also uniquely designed for each users, allowing Superman to know who was sending the emergency beacon.
