August Heart, also known as Godspeed, is the arch-nemesis of Impulse, an enemy of XS and The Flash.
Biography
God of Speed
In 2049, August injected himself with Velocity Serums and granted himself speedster abilities. He then used the alter ego "Godspeed" and fought Impulse and Nora West-Allen, later known as "XS".[2] August later created a sanctum and proclaimed himself as the "God of Speed".[3]
Sending Clones
Months later, August started sending five Godspeed Clones throughout 2019 and 2020 in order to terrorize Central City as well as to steal The Flash's speed.[4]

Fractured Memories
Later, August stayed in 2020 and witnessed a civil war between his clones. However, he lost his memories and had no idea who he was until Cecile Horton brought him to S.T.A.R. Labs and allowed Caitlin Snow to restore his memories.[2]

- Velocity Serums Enhanced Physiology/Speed Force Connection: August injected himself with Velocity Serums and granted himself with Speedster abilities.[2] Later, August demanded Barry to give him his organic speed and absorbed the energy.[1]
- Superhuman Speed: August is able to run at the speed of light and fight XS with his superhuman speed.[2]
- Time Travel: August was able to travel back in time from 2049 to 2020.[2]
- Electrokinesis: August produces white lightning when running at superhuman speeds.[3]
- Electrical Constructs: August is able to absorb lightning from the sky and construct a sword of lightning.[1]
- Speed Force Aura: August is protected by an aura of invisible energy, protecting him from burning due to extreme friction and from gravitational forces.
- Speed Force Siphoning: August was able to create sonic booms and waves in order to siphon superhuman speed from Barry's body.[1]
- Accelerated Perception: August is able to perceive actions and words that appeared for a brief moment in time.
- Superhuman Momentum: August is able to withstand extreme kinetic energy. He is also able to stop completely even running at a superhuman speed.
- Superhuman Reflexes: August is able to respond to attacks quickly.
- Superhuman Stamina: August is able to run at extremely high speeds and thus has a high rate of metabolism without being out of breath.[3]
- Bodily Vibration: August is able to vibrate at superhuman speed and create visual illusions. He is also able to use his vibrational energy in order to generate a sonic boom that is able to slow down his opponents and steal their speed.[3]
- Accelerated Healing Factor: August is able to heal from injuries in short time and at a higher rate than humans.[3]
- Superhuman Durability: August is able to fight both XS and Impulse for a period of time with no visible injuries despite falling from a great height.[3]
- Clones Creation: August was able to create clones from his own body and later reabsorb their speed in order to be faster than The Flash.[1]
- Teleportation: August is able to teleport in the form of several bolts of white lightning.[1]
- Superhuman Speed: August is able to run at the speed of light and fight XS with his superhuman speed.[2]

- Genius-level Intellect: August planned multiple strategies to send his clones in search for more speed.[4]
- Expert Physicist: Prior to becoming Godspeed, August was a physicist.
