Superman Suits are a series of protective suits used by Clark Kent as the superhero, Superman.

First Suit[edit | hide]

In 2004, Martha Kent had a dream of Clark flying in the sky. Martha then created a protective suit for Clark as a hero prior to his return to Smallville. She later asked him about what to put on the chest, with Clark placing a House of El glyph on the chest.[1]
Second Suit[edit | hide]

Later in his twenty-year tenure as Superman, Kent upgraded his suit to consist of a darker color scheme and a more advanced material, while keeping the House of El glyph on it as a symbol of hope.[2]
Fictional Suits[edit | hide]
With a rising popularity of his role as Superman, Kent's red and blue color scheme and the House of El glyph inspired hope in the people of Earth, with some creating fictional costumes for merchandise purposes.[3]
