History

Stars and Stripes

Stripesy and Star-Spangled Kid

When Pat Dugan was twenty years old, he became the sidekick of Sylvester Pemberton and made a suit to conceal his identity by directing the attention away from his face.

Stripesy and Starman

After the death of the Justice Society of America, Dugan no longer wore his Stripesy costume and retired from vigilantism. During the years of retirement, Dugan created a robotic armor, later dubbed S.T.R.I.P.E. by Courtney Whitmore, and designed it based on the stripes he wore as a vigilante.

Return of Stripesy

Stripesy dons the costume once more

In 2021, Starman destroyed S.T.R.I.P.E. and Dugan was forced to don the costume once more and utilize the flamethrower on the armor to join Starman's attempt to attack Icicle.
