Biography
Early Life
At some point, an otherwise unnamed individual became a Metahuman speedster and the criminal known as the Red Death.[2]
Captain Boomerang
On February 1, 2023, as part of her vendetta against The Flash, the Red Death hired Captain Boomerang to steal the power source of Kord Industries' Roemer Accelerator in exchange for more of his specialized boomerangs. After succeeding in his mission, Mercer returned to an abandoned warehouse to deliver the item, where he was punished by his employer.[2]
Fiddler
Red Death later sent the Fiddler to retrieve Hartley Rathaway's Sonic Gauntlets. Wozzeck's first attempt failed, with the Red Death threatening to kill her if she fails once more. Wozzeck then returned to Rathaway's Krakatoa Club, attacking his crew and fighting The Flash. Wozzeck was defeated, though the retrieval mission was completed when Mercer rescued her. With the two components acquired, Mercer followed the Red Death's orders to activate a machine that restored her stable form, free from a body that constantly vibrates. Red Death then sped across the city, ending up on a roof and swearing to make Central City pay the price for disgracing her.[3]
Reverse Flashpoint
At some point in an erased future, the Red Death attempted to kill Batwoman, but was prevented from doing so with a Velocity 0 gun created by Luke Fox.[4]
