    The Painkiller Protocol, or simply known as Painkiller, is the programmed fail-safe installed by the ASA into Khalil Payne's biochip.

    Powers[edit | hide]

    • Cybernetic Enhancements: Khalil Payne was cybernetic enhanced by the ASA. When Painkiller is in charge, he has access to all of those enhancements.
      • Paralytic Venom/Antidote Touch: Khalil's body has a series of venom glands on his hands, which can be transferred to his victims through a simple touch. However, his glands were altered to be able to issue antidote for the serum after leaving Freeland.[2]
      • Regenerative Healing Factor: Khalil can heal from any minor injuries in a short period of time.
        • Inception Immunity: Khalil's mind cannot be accessed by any telepathic individuals.
      • Superhuman Durability: Khalil was shown to be extremely durable against conventional weapons, often suffering from little to no injuries despite facing the attack directly.
      • Superhuman Strength: Khalil has the ability to lift heavy objects with ease, and send individuals flying with a single throw.
        • Superhuman Jumping: As a side ability of his strength, Khalil can leap higher than average individuals.
      • Superhuman Stamina: Despite running and combating for a long period of time, Khalil does not appear to be tired or exhausted afterwards.

    • Peak of Human Physical Condition: As trained by the ASA, Khalil's body became a perfect weapon for the organization and was able to overpower his opponents easily.
      • Hand-to-Hand Combat: The Painkiller program consisted of a vast database of combat skills.
        • Swordsmanship: Painkiller was shown to be proficient in using swords as his combat weapon.
    • Marksmanship: Presumed to be a part of his programming, Painkiller is also proficient in handling firearms and accurately shoot at his targets.
    • Enhanced Intellect: Though not as intelligent as scientists, Painkiller was proven to have a keen intellect to operate in difficult situations.

    • Painkiller Suit: Painkiller wore a black protective suit after being activated by the ASA. He later continued to wear an altered suit after leaving Freeland.
