Kent Nelson was the vigilante known as Doctor Fate and a member of the Justice Society of America.

Justice For All
At some point, Kent Nelson married Inza Nelson, and they had a family together. After obtaining the Helmet of Nabu, Nelson became the vigilante known as Doctor Fate, and he subsequently joined the Justice Society of America.
After the JSA was disbanded by the actions of Checkmate, Nelson took the Helmet of Nabu off, which left him incapable of properly functioning. As a result, he became homeless and was widely viewed as insane.[2]

Nelson's voice was among one of those heard by Beast Boy whilst he was observing the multiverse from The Red.[3]
