Doctor Mid-Nite Goggles are a series of vision enhancement goggles created by Charles McNider to let him see despite his blindness. He also used it as the vigilante Doctor Mid-Nite until his death and the goggles were given to Beth Chapel in 2020.

After the fight between the JSA and the ISA, Pat Dugan retrieved the JSA members' respective equipment to the Headquarters and displayed it.[1] Later, Courtney Whitmore stole the suit away to recruit a successor to become Doctor Mid-Nite.[2]
In summer 2021, McNider was revealed to have survived the battle and was sent to Shadowlands. He later successfully contacted Beth Chapel through the use of two pairs of goggles and alerted her about the arrival of Eclipso.[3]

Functions[edit | hide]
- Identity Concealment: The goggles are capable of concealing its users' identity by covering their faces.
- Vision Enhancement: Due to Charles McNider's blindness, the goggles were created to enhance his vision. The enhancement was later used by Beth and she no longer required glasses while operating as Doctor Mid-Nite. The goggles also include multiple functions such optical, x-Ray, infrared, night vision, Twitter, weather prediction, lie detector and holograms.
- Artificial Intelligences (Chuck): The goggles include a Charles McNider A.I. whom Beth nicknamed Chuck.
