    Butch Gilzean, born Cyrus Gold,[10] was a powerful criminal serving under Fish Mooney as her enforcer and second-in-command. Gilzean was later shot to death by Barbara Kean, though was resurrected as Solomon Grundy when his body was exposed to toxic chemicals in the Slaughter Swamp.

    • Enhanced Physiology: After being shot to death and dumped at the Slaughter Swamp, Gilzean's body was exposed to toxic chemicals and was resurrected with no memories of his previous life. Aside from his resurrection, Gilzean also gained an enhanced physiology with exceptional superhuman abilities and while not having any blood nor pulse in his body.
      • Regenerative Healing Factor: Despite one of his arms being amputated, Gilzean was able to regenerate and grow the arm when he was resurrected.
      • Superhuman Durability: Gilzean could endure a great amount of attacks with no visible injuries or pain.
      • Superhuman Strength: Gilzean was capable of exerting great force with extreme ease, such as knocking out Edward Nygma with a slight bump and swiping individuals away without showing signs of struggle.

    • Peak of Human Physical Condition: Even prior to gaining his superhuman abilities, Gilzean possessed an exceptional physiology.
      • Hand-to-Hand Combat: As Mooney's enforcer, Gilzean was familiar with a series of basic combat skills, capable of overpowering his opponents.
    • Marksmanship: Gilzean was proficient in handling firearms.

    • Pyrophobia: After being resurrected, Gilzean became extremely afraid of flames, often cowering into a fetal position.
