The Council of Wells is a group of Harrison Wellses from the Original Multiverse that was sent into Nash Wells' Mind during the Crisis.
History
Background
During the Crisis, the Harrison Wells of the Multiverse was killed by Antimatter and eventually ended up in Nash Wells's mind as their brainwave particles were drawn to Nash's.[1]
Barry Allen's Lost of Speed
In 2020, Barry Allen discovered that the Speed Force was accidentally destroyed by the Spectre during the Crisis. He and countless speedsters then started losing their speed.[2]
The Harrison Wellses then appears as hallucinations to Nash Wells and assisted the creation of the Artificial Speed Force. They then determined that in order for Barry to regain his speed, they must all die. However, Nash Wells refused as he was not ready to die yet. He then tried another method with Allegra Garcia pushing the Wellses' Multiversal particles into the Fusion Sphere and contain it with her powers. The plan then backfired with all Wellses possessing Barry Allen's body.[3]
Despite being trapped in Barry Allen's body, they were able to assist the remaining members of the team and created a Particle Magnet in order to extract themselves out of Barry's body, preventing Barry's death. The Council along with Nash Wells then decided to sacrifice themselves to protect Central City, with respective Wellses that worked with Barry saying goodbye and convincing him that even without a Wells, he would still be The Flash.[3]
