Inspector Basch is a police inspector for the Gotham City Police Department.

Riddler Case[edit | hide]
At some point, Basch became a police inspector for the Gotham City Police Department. In 1966, Inspector Basch and Chief O'Hara were asked by Commissioner Gordon whether they could figure out a riddle left by Riddler, though all three could not figure it out. After Batman and Robin figured out the meaning of the riddle, Inspector Basch and several police officers were about to meet them at the Peale Art Gallery until Batman said he would handle the situation.[2]
