Adrita Malik was the co-owner of Malik Hotels and the adoptive mother of Bashir Malik.

At some point, Adrita and her husband Paul Malik adopted kid who they named "Bashir".[1]
On March 5, 2007, Tuesday, Adrita and Paul were 50 million dollars in debt. They then fled the country for tax evasion, only to die in a plane crash.[1]
