The Hold Up, also known as Batbar,[1] is a Gotham City gay bar purchased by Wayne Enterprises' Gotham Pride Real Estate.
History
Purchased by Wayne Enterprises
In 2020, Kate Kane, surviving as the acting CEO of Wayne Enterprises, founded Gotham Pride Real Estate and purchased the former site of Gotham City Bank.[2]
Batbar
When Marquis Jet took over Wayne Tower, Luke Fox sealed up the Batcave and kept the essential technology and gadgets to keep the Bat-Team active.[3] Initially working in the Rogues Unit office under City Hall, the team was forced to leave when they discovered that Renee Montoya freed Poison Ivy. They then began working at The Hold Up, with the bar codenamed as the "Batbar".[4][1]
