Hootie is the former pet owl of Doctor Mid-Nite.
Biography[edit | hide | hide all]
At some point, Hootie became the pet owl of Dr. Charles McNider, a member of the Justice Society of America under the alias, Dr. Mid-Nite. He would land on McNider's arm every time he came to the Justice Society of America headquarters. After McNider's apparent death, Hootie would wait at the JSA headquarters for over ten years for his owner to return.[1]
