The Helmet of Fate is a mystical artifact with the ability to bestow Magic upon its hosts.

At some point, Kent Nelson began donning the Helmet of Fate and began operating as Doctor Fate. On December 24, 2010, Nelson, alongside the members of the Justice Society of America, were killed in action against the Injustice Society of America.[1]
