Early Life
At some point, Gideon Peale founded Gideon Peale Co. and the Peale Art Gallery.[1]
Dealing with The Riddler
In 1966, The Riddler lent Gideon a cross which he used for a show. Once he was finished with the cross, he invited The Riddler to his office, so he could return it. However, The Riddler had secretly set a trap for Batman by offering Gideon a light for his cigarette with a gun shaped lighter which Batman mistook, breaking through the window and arresting The Riddler. Gideon and The Riddler then explained the situation before Batman was handed a lawsuit alleging assault, slander and false arrest.[1]
