History
Foundation
The Daily Planet was founded at some point in Metropolis, New York. They eventually hired several staff members including editor-in-chief Perry White, journalist Lois Lane, gossip columnist Cat Grant, and photojournalist James Olsen.
Superman and Supergirl
At some point in the early 2000s, Clark Kent became a journalist for the Daily Planet. During his first day on the job, he rushed out of a staff meeting to rescue Lois Lane from a news helicopter crash.[1] At some point after this, James Olsen took the first photograph of Superman.[2]
