Elizabeth Marie "Beth" Kane is a former member of The Many Arms of Death and the infamous leader of the disbanded Wonderland Gang. Beth is also the daughter of Jacob and Gabi Kane, the sister of Kate Kane and the cousin of Bruce Wayne.

After a car crash and Batman's unsuccessful rescue, Beth was found and kidnapped by Cartwrights. She spent her later years held captive and mentally tortured before leaving to Coryana. Beth soon adopted the alias Alice and returned to Gotham as a criminal, terrorist and a foe to Batwoman, whose identity was later discovered by Alice to be her sister.
