Batgirl is an unreleased film based on the DC Comics character, Batgirl, and an intended installment in the DC Extended Universe. It was originally scheduled to be released in December 2022 on HBO Max,[1] though it was later confirmed to have been cancelled on August 2, 2022.[2]
The film originally starred Leslie Grace, J.K. Simmons, Jacob Scipio, Ivory Aquino, Brendan Fraser, and Michael Keaton, and was directed by Adil El Arbi and Bilall Fallah, with screenplay by Christina Hodson. Additionally, Rebecca Front, Corey Johnson, and Ethan Kai were also cast in undisclosed roles.[3]
