Early Life

At some point, Willoughby Kipling met Niles Caulder and became a good friend of him.

Cult of the Unwritten Book

In 2019, Kipling helped Niles Caulder's team on fighting the members of the Cult of the Unwritten Book.

• Longevity: Kipling claims that he was a child in the 15th century, yet he only appears to be a middle-aged adult by the 21st century.
• Magic: Kipling was trained under Ms. April, who taught him everything he knew about magic.
  • Chaos Magic: Kipling is an expert in Chaos Magic and capable of casting powerful spells.
    • Conjuration: Kipling was able to conjure his Flaming Sword out of nowhere.
    • Cloaking Spell: Kipling has the ability to cloak Elliot Patterson from the Cult of the Unwritten Book.
    • Deanimation: Kipling was able to stop Cliff Steele's motion in grabbing Niles Caulder's arm.
    • Location Spell: While at his peak performance, Kipling is capable of locating teleporting locations from map.
    • Portal Opening: Seemingly smoking, Kipling can repurpose his burning cigarettes to open portals to different locations on Earth.
    • Reanimation: Kipling was able to reanimate the severed head of Niles Caulder, temporarily giving him the ability of speech and sight.
    • Summoning: Kipling summoned Baphomet, the oracle, in hopes of acquiring information for his missions.
