Tal-Rho is one of the very few survivors of Krypton's destruction and the son of Zeta-Rho and Lara Lor-Van, and the half-brother of Kal-El.
Arriving on Earth like his half-brother, Tal used the alias of Morgan Edge and began his plan to resurrected Krypton through the use of the Eradicator. He then confronted his half-brother, who became Superman over the decades and later thwarted Tal's villainous actions in Smallville.
Biography
Early Life

Tal-Rho was born to Zeta-Rho and Lara Lor-Van through Kryptonian engineering. He grew up on Krypton and was sent to Earth after his parents realized the planet's upcoming destruction. Landed in Britain countryside, Tal-Rho killed a couple after his lack of control. Soon, Tal was hunted by local people and was eventually captured.[3]
Years later, Tal-Rho was kept in an Air Raid Shelter with the British Army experimenting on him. With an open opportunity, Tal escaped to the exit and killed the soldiers with heat vision.[3]
In 1987, Tal-Rho used his Sunstone Crystal and unlocked his fortress, allowing him to talk to his father's A.I.[4] For his later years, Tal was trained by his father's A.I. and underwent pain tolerance training, eventually leaving his fortress to become "Morgan Edge". However, he returned regularly and soon discovered his brother's presence on Earth. Tal attempted to reach his biological half-brother before being disapproved by his father.[1]
Search for X-Kryptonite
Using the alias of "Morgan Edge", Tal-Rho founded Edge EnerCorp and searched for X-Kryptonite all over the planet in order to restore Krypton on Earth.[3]
Tal-Rho later went to Saskatchewan with the company of Leslie Larr and Dabney Donovan. He then found the Eradicator during a meteor shower.[5]
Buying Daily Planet
In fall 2020, Morgan Edge bought Daily Planet under Galaxy Holdings and appointed Samuel Foswell as its editor-in-chief as well as laying off multiple staffs, such as Clark Kent and Whit.[2]

Powers
- Kryptonian Physiology: Edge's Kryptonian physiology grants him a variety of superpowers when exposed to a yellow sun.[6]
- Solar Energy Absorption: Kryptonians are able to absorb solar energy and use it to fuel their powers.[6]
- Superhuman Speed: Edge is able to perceive Superman's attacks and counteract it.[6]
- Superhuman Reflexes: Edge is able to perceive and respond to attacks much faster than the average person.[6]
- Superhuman Strength: Edge is incredibly strong and can lift extremely heaving objects.[6]
- Flight: Edge has the ability to fly as shown when he revealed his identity to Superman.[6]
- Levitation: Edge has the ability to levitate while flying.[6]
- Heat Vision: Edge is able to shoot immense heat blasts out of his eyes.[3]
- Invulnerability: Edge was able to withstand a strong punch from Superman.[3]
- Solar Energy Absorption: Kryptonians are able to absorb solar energy and use it to fuel their powers.[6]
Former Powers
- Eradicator-Mutated Physiology: After destroying the Eradicator with heat vision, Edge was exposed to all Kryptonian consciousnesses. Later, Edge accepted the consciousnesses' orders to become the Eradicator, unlocking powers that normal Kryptonians do not possess.[1]
- Ergokinesis: After being urged to become the Eradicator, Edge unlocked his ability to manipulate and create blue energy blasts.[1]
- Energy Shield: Edge is able to create a forcefield of energy to prevent being attacked.[7]
- Consciousness Transference: Edge is shown to be able to restore Kryptonian consciousnesses into Human bodies.[7]
Abilities
- Leadership: As the owner of a multimedia company, Morgan Edge has been an expert in leading countless personnel.[2]
- Manipulation: Tal-Rho was able to manipulated countless people to join his experiments.
- Hand-to-Hand Combat: Edge was able to fight Superman easily with hand-to-hand combats.
- Tactics: Edge was shown to be able to create a sophisticated and effective plan to restore Kryptonian glory on Earth with the assistance with his father's A.I..
- High Pain Tolerance: For years, Tal was trained in his fortress and now able to withstand pain beyond human imagination.[1]
Weaknesses
- Kryptonite: Like all Kryptonians, Edge is susceptible to most forms of Kryptonite with it being one of the few things that can kill him.[8]
- Green Kryptonite: Green Kryptonite is a form of Kryptonite that will make Edge, and all other Kryptonians, sick and eventually kill him when exposed to for a long enough amount of time.[8]

Current Equipment
- The Eradicator Suit: After revealing his true identity as a Kryptonian, Edge wears a black and silver protective suit with the emblem of the House of Rho on his chest.[6]
- Eradicator: With his major objective on Earth being the restoration of Kryptonian glory, Edge searched for the Eradicator, a device capable of transferring Kryptonian consciousness into humans.[4] However, his plan was reversed by Superman and the device was absorbed into Edge's body, mutating him in the process.[8]
