Sparkington J. Northrup[1] is the sidekick of Golden Age hero, Blue Beetle, known as Sparky.

Golden Age of Heroes[edit | hide]
During the Golden Age of Heroes, Sparkington Northrup was among those who decided to utilize their special abilities in hopes of protecting the world. Northrup dubbed himself Sparky and fought crime alongside his partner Blue Beetle.[2]
