Becoming a Metahuman
In the 1960s, Rita was an actor and was kept in an institution after a toxic gas made her cells unstable.[2]
Meeting Rachel Roth
In 2018, Rita lived in the Caulder House and met Rachel Roth, who was brought to the house by Gar. Later, her face started to droop and was comforted by Rachel. Caulder then returned home and asked the residents to assist him on the operation of his patient.[2]
After the operation, Dick Grayson and Kory Anders entered the house. Rita then lost control and screamed at them to make them to leave. However, Dick is able to help Rachel and Rita urged Gar to go with them, and hugged him goodbye.[2]
