Duel in South Metropolis[edit | hide]
In 2023, shortly after Atom-Man was defeated by Superman, Onomatopoeia manipulated sound and sent out energy blasts that mimicked the sound of gunshots. While there were no bullets, the mimicked sound pierced Miller's skin and shot him to death, confusing Superman. Onomatopoeia was then seen by Superman, though was able to mimic the sound of people in danger to distract him long enough for her[2] escape. The corpse of Atom-Man was soon brought by Onomatopoeia back to the possession of Bruno Mannheim, who ordered Aleister Hook to resurrect him.[3]
