Father Michael was a priest and an old friend of Jay Allen.

Biography

Early life

At some point, Father Michael became a friend of Jay Allen to the point where he also came to know Jay's brother.

The homeless disappearances

In 1990, Father Michael went to the precinct to report some strange disappearances of homeless. There he met Barry who recognized him as a friend of Jay. Despite insisting, Lt. Warren Garfield refused to start an investigation "based on rumors". Later, Father Michael organized a protest at the precinct with the homeless community that quickly escalated into a riot when one of them took a weapon. After that the riot was calmed down and that Barry took the case, Michael introduced them to two homeless witness: Sam and Charlie. The two gave some info about one of them found dead before disappearing. Later, when Barry managed to retrieve the corpse of Sam that was mutated, Michael came to thank Barry for finding a corpse and thus causing the police to start an investigation. Later, Michael and Barry were talking inside the homeless alley about how Charlie lost everything to end up on the street. Michael gave him the basic story about how it all happen and Barry agreed to help him.

Wayne Cotrell's execution

Weeks later, he went to Wayne Cotrell's cell to obtain his confession before his execution but Wayne stated that he was innocent and that he has nothing to confess. Later, at the execution chamber, Wayne was about to be executed but the Flash showed up and released him. Michael stopped the guards that were about to shoot the Flash. The Flash revealed that Linda Lake was alive and Wayne's conviction was wrong. Wayne's brother Elliott then took a gun but was apprehended by the Flash.

Trivia

• Despite to have never seen the the Flash, before Beat the Clock, Michael trusted him with his instinct to make sure the guards didn't shoot him.
  • This could be interpreted as the saint priest that know how to recognize the good in people.
