Krypto is a former test subject of Cadmus Laboratories and later the pet of Conner Kent. When Kent fell into a coma, Krypto went with him to the Titans Tower and joined the Titans.

Test subject[edit | hide]
At some point, Krypto became a test subject of Cadmus Laboratories and was freed by one of the Human subjects, Krypto's eyes glowed red and left with him.[4]
Journey with Conner[edit | hide]

After leaving the facility, Krypto left with Conner and went across the city. When Conner buys a Superman shirt, he saw a truck of a field on it and remembered a similar one in Kansas. Conner then brought Krypto with him to Kansas where they met Lionel Luthor.[5]

Joining the Titans[edit | hide]
After Conner being brought to the Titans Tower, Krypto tracked him and comforted Gar who was left in charge of the building. A few days later, Krypto watched Conner and Gar play video games which Conner won due to his super speed. Later, the trio went out to the city where Conner heard a man arrested by the police screaming for help. Conner then rushed to help which alerted Krypto. They then fought the police until Gar brought them away.[6]
