Kal-El was the vigilante knows as Superman and a member of the Justice League.

    Biography[edit | hide | hide all]

    Early Life[edit | hide]

Kal-El was born at some point in the future on the planet Krypton to well-respected scientist Jor-El, as a member of the House of El. Shortly after his birth, his planet exploded, and so he was sent to Earth by his father.[6]

    Superman's Adventures[edit | hide]

He soon found that the radiation from the Earth's yellow sun granted him a variety of superhuman abilities, which he used to become the vigilante known as Superman.[6] During his career, Superman became the arch-enemy of General Zod, saved the universe on numerous occasions,[8] and became a member of the Justice League.[3]

    Temporal Disturbances[edit | hide]

Upon learning that he would be erased from existence due to the actions of Brainiac, Superman sent Adam Strange back in time to warn his grandfather, Seg-El, of what was happening. He also gave Strange his cape, which would function as an hourglass by showing how much time he had left to restore the timeline.[1] Due to the actions of General Zod during the fight against Brainiac, the sigil on Superman's cape began to change from that of the House of El to that of the House of Zod, signifying his possible erasure from the timeline.[9]
