Dr.^[4] Jennifer "Jen" McDuffie is a linguist and the adoptive mother of Naomi McDuffie.

On March 14, 2004, McDuffie and hire husband Greg legally adopted Naomi after she was placed in their care during the War of the Twenty-Nine.^[1]^[3]

Peaceful Life[edit | hide]

For the later 16 years, McDuffie lived a peaceful life with her husband and daughter in Port Oswego. In 2022, McDuffie and her husband grew concerned over Naomi as she passed out the previous day while pursuing a Superman-stunt. However, they both were unable to find any problems with her physically.^[1]

Later, they gifted Naomi a car and were surprised that she did not respond excitedly. They then watched Naomi and her debate team's activity before she passed out once again. Concerned and confused, McDuffie and Greg made an appointment for Naomi to have a thorough test.^[1]
