Gotham City was a city mainly known to be where the Batman operated.[1]
History
Sometime before 1989, a costumed vigilante began operating in the city. The media later gave him the name "Batman".[1]
On December 10, 2019, the city was wiped out by a wave of anti-matter, along with the rest of Earth-89.[2]
