The Doom Force, as coined by Cliff Steele, was a group of superpowered individuals created by Niles Caulder. Originally reluctant to operate as "superheroes" and simply aimed to rescue Caulder from Mister Nobody, the team stepped up and occasionally rescued the world from extranormal activities such as the Candlemaker. The team later protected Cloverton from Robotman's uncontrolled body and decided to finally work together under the leadership of Rita Farr

Trivia
- Even though it is not mentioned on screen, the team was named as the Doom Patrol in synopsis and promotional materials. However, they never succeeded the original Doom Patrol in the series and met them after they were a team. However, in Amends Patrol, Cliff coined the term "Doom Force".
