Casey Brinke is the fictional intergalactic superhero known as Space Case, who swore to fight against her villainous father, Torminox. Brinke was later brought to real life when Dorothy Spinner conjured her against Torminox's forces.

- Brinke's love for gyros in Casey Patrol is a reference to her first appearance in the comics, where she conversed with her EMT partner, Sam Reynolds, about the possibility that a world exists inside a gyro.
