Superman Suits are a series of protective suit used by Kal-El as the superhero, Superman.
History
First Suit
In 2004, Martha Kent had a dream of Clark flying in the sky. Martha then created a protective suit for Clark as a hero prior to his return to Smallville. She later asked him about what to put on the chest, with Clark placing a House of El emblem on the chest.[1]
Second Suit
As of 2015, Clark changed into a different suit, sporting a different texture and an updated emblem. However, this suit was no longer used after the Crisis.[2]
Third Suit
In 2020, Clark started wearing a suit with a darker color scheme.[3]
Design
The suit is a dark blue fabric suit with leather emblem of the House of El on the chest. The suit also consists of a red belt and boots with a red cape to assist Superman's flying.
Functions
- Cape: The cape of the suit assists Superman's flight, allowing him to turn midair without spinning uncontrollably.
