The Mask of Rasputin also known as the Death Mask of Rasputin was a Russian mask created in honor of Rasputin.[1]
History
Creation
At some point in the past, after the passing of Rasputin, the mask was created from his dying will to exert influence on the other Russian Tsars upon his death.[1]
The Museum theft
In 1990, the Mask who was now a Russian national treasure, was allowed for the first time outside his home country in order to bring attention to the Central City Museum in Central City. Due to the sighting of multiple notable theft in the city, Washington sent special agent Mitch Lestrange and agent Anderson to Central City in order to protect the mask to avoid diplomatic complications. Thanks to the intervention of The Flash, Stan Kovacs and his gang of thieves were arrested, allowing the mask's showing to be extended a full month.[1]
Erased Future
In 2001, a future where the Flash disappeared in 1991, The Resistance used the mask as an artifact to make the members remember the Flash's heroic actions.[2]
