- Even though it is not mentioned on screen, the team was named as the Doom Patrol in synopsis and promotional materials. However, they never succeeded the original Doom Patrol in the series and met them after they were a team.
- Additionally, according to executive producer Chris Dingess, the team would not be named as the "Doom Patrol" anytime soon.[2]
