Thomas Wayne was a billionaire philanthropist and the father of Bruce Wayne.

Fatherhood[edit source]
At some point, Thomas Wayne married Martha Wayne, and they had a son named Bruce Wayne. During Bruce's childhood, his parents were murdered in front of him, and this acted as the catalyst for him to become Batman.[1] After their deaths, the Thomas and Martha Wayne Memorial Hospital was named in their memory.[2]
