“ | Brother, for years I've watched you do things no other hero is capable of. It's rather inspired me to have a go myself. So this time last year, you were trying to destroy the world, and now you're fighting for it. I'm not fighting for the world, Kal. I'm fighting for you. You and your family. The only people on this planet that truly matter to me. |

Tal-Rho is one of the very few survivors of Krypton's destruction and the son of Zeta-Rho and Lara Lor-Van, and the half-brother of Kal-El.
Arriving on Earth like his half-brother, Rho used the alias of Morgan Edge and began his plan to resurrected Krypton through the use of the Eradicator. He then confronted his half-brother, who became Superman over the decades and later thwarted Tal's villainous actions in Smallville. During his long-time crusade, Rho also absorbed the device and became Eradicator before his mind was restored by Superman and Steel.

Landed in Britain countryside, Rho killed a couple after his lack of control. Soon, Rho was hunted by local people and was eventually captured.[4]

However, he returned regularly and soon discovered his brother's presence on Earth. Rho attempted to reach his biological half-brother before being disapproved by his father.[2]
Search for X-Kryptonite[edit source]
Using the alias of "Morgan Edge", Rho founded Edge EnerCorp and searched for X-Kryptonite all over the planet in order to restore Krypton on Earth.[4]
Edge later went to Saskatchewan with the company of Leslie Larr and Dabney Donovan. He then found the Eradicator during a meteor shower.[6]
