Shiera Sanders[2] was the vigilante known as Hawkgirl and a member of the Justice Society of America.

At some point, Shiera Sanders became the vigilante known as Hawkgirl. She later became a member of the Justice Society of America and befriended Stripesy.[3]
She, alongside Doctor Fate, Green Lantern, Hawkman, and the Spectre, later fought Eclipso. However, they failed to defeat him and the Justice Society was forced to vote on whether to kill his host, Bruce Gordon.[4]
On December 24, 2010, Hawkgirl and the rest of the Justice Society were lured into a battle at an abandoned mansion by their arch-enemies, the Injustice Society of America.[5] During the battle, she was killed by Brainwave.[1]
