Shazam! Fury of the Gods is a 2023 film based on the DC Comics character, Shazam, the fourteenth film in the DC Extended Universe, and a sequel to Shazam!. It premiered on March 14, 2023, at the Fox Village Theater and on March 17, 2023, in the United States.
The film stars Zachary Levi, Asher Angel, Jack Dylan Grazer, Rachel Zegler, Adam Brody, Ross Butler, DJ Cotrona, Grace Caroline Currey, Meagan Good, Lucy Liu, Djimon Hounsou, and Helen Mirren, and is directed by David F. Sandberg, and written by Henry Gayden and Chris Morgan.
Synopsis[edit | hide | hide all]
When Billy Batson and his foster siblings, who transform into superheroes by saying "Shazam!" are forced to get back into action and fight the Daughters of Atlas. The Shazam family must stop them from using a weapon that could destroy the world. Along the way, they had to make peace with the Gods because Billy took their powers for granted.
