Richard "Dick" Hertz was a criminal and a member of Task Force X known as Blackguard.
Biography[edit source]
Early Life[edit source]
At some point, Hertz acquired an armor and operated as the criminal known as Blackguard. Eventually, he was incarcerated in Belle Reve Correctional Center.[1]
The Suicide Squad[edit source]
In 2021, Hertz was recruited by Amanda Waller to join Task Force X. He was then sent on a mission to Corto Maltese. Soon, Hertz contacted the Corto Maltesean army and hid his secrets from the rest of the team.[1]
On the ride to the island, Hertz questioned Weasel's species of origin and deduced that he was a dog. Harkness mocked his answers and asked him what kind of dog did he thought Weasel was. Hertz defended himself and said that he does not know the breeds of all dogs. Upon landing on the island, Hertz revealed himself to the army and told them that he contacted them prior, with the army shooting him in the head and killing him.[1]
