“ | You know what I'm capable of. Please don't be the person who tries to hold me back. You gotta understand where I'm coming from. I'm your father. Look, I get it. I really do, but... we already lost one world. I can't just stand by and watch while another one's destroyed. This time, I have to fight. |

— Natalie Lane Irons and John Henry Irons[src]
|
Natalie "Nat" Lane Irons is the daughter of John Henry Irons and Lois Lane.
During the Crisis, Irons chased after her father and was trapped between worlds, frozen for days until Hedy located Irons' father on another universe. Irons then settled with her father in Metropolis, though moved to Smallville when she struggled to fit in.
Biography[edit source]
Early Life[edit source]
Natalie Lane Irons was born circa 2005 to John Henry Irons and Lois Lane. She then grew up in Metropolis and studied at Metropolis High School until Superman's attack.[1]
Fall of Metropolis[edit source]
Later, Irons witnessed her parents in their bedroom and was interrupted when an explosion occurred near them. They then saw Superman leading an army of Kryptonians and destroyed the city. Luckily, John was able to bring his family to safety, and they lived in a protective bunker where they spent their rest of their lives on Earth in.[1]
Throughout the later years, Irons studied engineering by herself and created a war suit with her father, allowing him to fight and prevent the destruction of their planet after Lois' death. John then suited up and prepared to fight Superman with a Red Solar Rocket, promising Irons that he would return.[1]
Arrival on a New World[edit source]
When the Antimatter wall hit her home universe, Irons escaped using a pod and connected the vehicle to the war suit's CPU, allowing her to land at the Kent Farm. Irons then exited the vehicle and saw Clark, Jonathan and Jordan Kent standing in front of her alongside the doppelgänger of her late mother.[5]

Notes[edit source]
- Irons does not have a counterpart on UE-32 due to her parents' doppelgängers having never met each other in this universe. However, Lois Lane and Clark Kent of UE-32 had a miscarriage of a child whom she originally intended to name Natalie, after her grandmother.[8]
- Irons is vegan.[9]
