Mark Bernhardt was an arsonist that worked with Stan Kovacs.[1]

Early Life[edit source]
At some point, Mark became a notorious arsonist to the point where the FBI was aware of his activities.[1]
The Museum theft[edit source]
In 1990, Stan Kovacs invited him to the Marco's Billiards in Central City in order to discuss the plan to rob the Death Mask of Rasputin from the Museum. When he arrived, the taxi driver asked to be paid, but because he was still unhappy about the small bill he gave, Mark tried to scare him by attempting to burn him. He laughed as the taxi drove off. Later, when the group tried to rob Star Labs, Mark was on the coms when Hennings was attacked by a "red blur". When the operation failed, he escaped the scene before the police arrived. Later, at their lair, they discover the existence of The Flash and Mark quit the job by fear of being arrested. Kovacs then killed Mark in order to use his corpse to lure The Flash to the billiards before blowing it up.[1]
