Marguerite Giarelo was federal prosecutor that took part of the case that involved Reuben Calderon.^[1]

Day of the Dead Festival[edit source]

At the beginning of November 1990, Marguerite took part of a case that accused Reuben Calderon of being Central City's drug lord. But before Peter Paul Aguilar could testify, her daughter was taken hostage by Marcos Trachmann and Aguilar had to make a deal that involved him not testifying in exchange for his daughter's life. Marguerite was interviewed by Joe Kline in front of the courthouse where she tried to mislead him about the reason of the trial's delay. However, Kline was aware of the kidnapping and asked her if she could comment on that. S^[1]
