At some point, the House of El began within the city.[1]
Destruction[edit source]
When the impending destruction of Krypton became known to the public, the city devolved into a state of war along with the rest of the planet.
The news of the planet's coming destruction soon came to be known by Jor-El who along with his wife placed their son, Kal-El, into a pod on a course to Earth.
The city was destroyed shortly after along with the rest of the planet.[1]
