Hootie is the former pet owl of Doctor Mid-Nite.
Biography[edit source]
At some point, Hootie became the pet owl of Dr. Charles McNider, a member of the Justice Society of America under the alias, Dr. Mid-Nite. He would land on Charles' arm every time he came to the Justice Society of America headquarters. After Charles' apparent death, Hootie would wait at the JSA headquarters for over ten years for his owner to return.[1]
