Dead Boy Detectives is a web television series based on DC Comics characters, the Dead Boy Detectives.
The series is developed by Steve Yockey, who serves as showrunner. Dead Boy Detectives is a spin-off of Doom Patrol, with the initial actors who portrayed the detectives recast and Ruth Connell reprising her role as the Nightmare Nurse in the Doom Patrol episode "Dead Patrol".
Synopsis[edit source]
It's a fresh take on a ghost story that explores loss, grief, and death through the lens of Edwin Payne and Charles Rowland, two dead British teenagers, and their very alive friend, Crystal Palace. So, it’s a lot like a vintage detective series — only darker and on acid.[2]
