Central City Citizen was founded by Iris West-Allen in 2019 and its office is located in an unnamed building. During the process, a lawyer informed Iris that the only name available is "Central City Citizen".[1]

During the Crisis, Iris wrote an article after The Flash's disappearance. It was written and published in 2024 in the original timeline[2] and in 2019 in another alternate timeline.[3]
As of 2049, Central City Citizen is a part of the Central City Citizen Media.[4]
