    Bruce Wayne was the orphaned son of the wealthy Thomas and Martha Wayne. Wayne later grew up to be in charge of his family's fortune, while secretly operating as Batman, a vigilante in Gotham City.

    Early Life[edit source]

    Bruce Wayne was born in 1959 to Thomas and Martha Wayne.

    At six-years-old, Wayne fell into a well on the grounds of Wayne Manor. There he was confronted by numerous bat, inspiring his life-long phobia.[1]

    A few years later, Wayne would witness the murder of his parents at the hands of Jack Napier.[1]
