    Basil Karlo (Earth-Prime)

Joker's acid flower. Clayface's mud, Killer Croc's tooth. Why you collecting all this stuff from Batman's enemies? So I can succeed where they failed.

Basil Karlo, better known as Clayface, was an enemy of Batman with the ability to change his clay-body into different shapes and appearances.

    Biography[edit source]

At some point, Basil Karlo donned the alter ego of Clayface and became an enemy of Batman before being defeated. Afterwards, Batman kept a sample of his mud in the Batcave until it was stolen in 2021 by "Circe Sionis" and given to Black Mask.[1][2]

Following his defeat, Clayface was dissected and researched by doctors all over Gotham City.[3]

    Powers and Abilities[edit source]

    Powers[edit source]

    • Malleable Clay-Like Body: Clayface had a clay-like body that he could alter into any shape and appearances as he wished. Additionally, the clay infected his prefrontal cortex which served as an inhibitor, making him an impulsive criminal.[3]
      • Shape-Shifting: According to Luke Fox, Clayface had the ability to change his appearance, an ability that his successor retained.[3]
